Engine seeking quiet muffler

seeking quiet muffler

i really need to quiet my exhaust down..i cant stand it anymore...so i need to know what the quietest performance muffler out there is.. i've heard of dynomax maybe? <a href="http://www.dynomax.com/mufflers.stm" target="_blank">http://www.dynomax.com/mufflers.stm</a> any other specific recommendations?

do you have a resonator? try magnaflow maybe? it was pretty quiet on the SI and my friend with an echo has a magnaflow muffler, it's not too loud..

yeah ive got a resonator that came w/ the obx catback...but it sounds like it doesnt even make a difference, so you suggest magnaflow...like these guys.. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/02muffler.asp any other recommendations?

no aftermarket exhaust is quiet.

stock is best...

if u want something quiet... then the heavier the better...

and get a "low flow" resonator...

and add a conical insert into the exhaust port.... but remember.. less flow... then less performance..

Greddy exhausts are supposed to be on the quiet side. TRD is pretty mild as well from what I hear. They say the reason why they are quiet is because of the big canister and the silencing material inside.
