Sad Sad day Corolla is NO more...

Well its finally official after yesterday. I totaled the corolla. Lost control around a corner dropped off a ten foot embankment. Very good size tree stopped me and my finance from rolling another 80 feet to bottom. Down side it also decided to cave in the passenger back door, corner panel, trunk about two feet to the drivers side. Good thing it was only us no other vehicles involved, no major injuries (unless you count the mess in my shorts lol..). Body work don't bother me but frame is toast. Pics coming soon. Oh yea liability insurance...:sad:

Garage full of new parts may be available shortly.

Ouch, sorry...I'm glad you and your fiancee are safe, and at least you can rest a little easier knowing that the Corolla kept you alive to celebrate the new year.

Best wishes, and get well soon!

why not full coverage? i know when i first started driving i only had liability, but quickly realized it was smarter to have full coverage.

Thanks all. Why liability only good question. Just changed it two months ago, with the object of saving funds and my excellent driving ability.lol....

Karma can be a bitch at times bro. But at least youre okay. When I bought the Prizm we told them to swich my insurance to full coverage but they must have "mis heard" us on the phone and I guess I only had liability so when I got into my accident last September there was nothing I could do about my car. Its still all messed up but I payed 1200.00 just to get it driving again.

Sometimes the cost of coverage exceeds the value of the car.

Sorry to hear that bro. Iv been depressed since i lost control of the AE82 and my problems are fixable compared to yours. I cant imagine what I would feel if it got total'd.

Time to move to bigger and better things. Hope your fiancee does not kill you.. :D

i guess it was a fail on both :eek:ops :D

i can see if you have a 80's model car, but with full coverage i am guessing he could of got around 3k-4k for the car if it was totaled.
