The S2K antenna has a little "excess" on the bottom area so when you mount it on your 03, it will look like a Christmas tree. The JDM stubbies are "perfect fit".

You can take the antenna off and get the same reception?
So does that mean I can just shave it right off and still listen to the radio perfect?

no i dont think u can take it off and still get perfect reception.

i went from the OEM antenna and put the lil 2.5" antenna on my car and it has decreased incredibly. i can't get AM stations. WTF!?!?!
