    S.techs AND H.techs?????

Right now I have Tein H.techs w/KYB GR2's on my rolla and I love how the rear sits but the front is just too high...I just won a set of S.techs on ebay and i was wondering would it do any damage or effect the ride in a negative way if i leave the H.techs in the rear and put the S. techs up front? I don't want the rear to sit any lower so my only other alternative is to get spacers on the rear for the S.techs....any and all input is appreciated

Well, here are the spring rates...

    S.TECH
    3.2/179 (Front)
    2.5/140 (Rear)

    H.TECH
    2.7/151 (Front)
    2.3/129 (Rear)

The S.TECH's are firmer... so that might affect your handling in an adverse way (front much firmer than rear...)

I know I'll have to go with H techs because S techs are WAY TOO much of a drop for me.

u'd be surprised...the supra's downpipe sat about 3-4 inches off the ground, got over most speedbumps ok (notice i said "most") and in the winter...the downpipe just burns through the snow....it's funny sometimes....and then you got my buddy ryan...who basically did a 4" drop on his 2nd gen integra...I don't think the s-techs are gonna drop u that much...plus my sis has a 99 corolla with tein s-techs and KYB GR-2 struts....no problems yet...

as for the topic....like teevee said...the fronts gonna give a stiffer rebound and a more responsive steering, but the back will feel splashy everytime you go over a bump...it'll feel like the back will bounce more than the front...it all comes down to personal preference.

Yah, in this case, i'd get the S.TECH's all aruond and get spacers for the rear, it will give you a more uniform ride...

It is perfectly fine to do so if you want to leave the "H.tech" in the rear and run "S.tech" up front. I have a few buddys who has 6+ different set of springs for their coilovers and run different spring rates according to conditions.

    Besides 0.2kg/mm is nothing
