    S/C exhaust size

Hi just wondering which size is the best for a S/C corolla.
I have a 2inch mandrel bent system now.
And i don't want to go bigger due to cost and noise.
Would going up to 2.5 be that much different?

    Thanks all.

I think you should stay with what you have, if you make it any bigger you might loose compression so I would just leave it like that.

With forced induction I wouldnt worry to much about loosing compresion. N/A yea your right but I would say 2.25 to 2.5 would be optimal for a supercharged car. Im going or already have 2.25 so im staying with that but if I would have started out knowing I was getting the supercharger I would have gone 2.5

Definately 2.25 to 2.50! There will be a difference, especially if u do a catback

i had a free flow exhaust on my superchargerd rolla for a while and while up in the rpms it was great if wasnt as great down low.
my pipes were 2.25 in dia but swaped the muffler for one with not as much flow. and the top end was off a bit but the low end was awsome.
my problem was i had the automatic and with the free flowing exhaust i would hit the rev limiter all the time during the 1-2 and 2-3 shift. which was annoying. if you have a manual it wouldnt be as large as a problem. i would say max 2.25 dia. you want your torque as it makes a big difference. to big and you will lose it.
