rusted rotors

    rusted rotors

    ive had my corolla for not even a year now and i notice that the front rotors are starting to become rusted...............anybody else have this problem and know a way to fix it..maybe painting them?

    I've had my corolla for 2 years and my rotors seem rusted too.

    well my corolla is 2 and a half years old now and ive replaced my rusty rotors but then again i live in ohio with snow and salt so its normal to see rust here.

    i think scrubbing them with a wirebrush and soap/water works...if not, just paint them black

    it just happens....brake a lot and really hard, that will get it off, hehehe. be careful what you spray or put down there because you dont want to ignite anything

    yup... rusty too.. even my rear drums are. really obvious if you have rims.

    the brillo pad idea should work well, just need some muscle

    after workin at a resturant washing dishes for 3 years, brillo pad is no problem :D
