rotor opinions

    rotor opinions

    Does anybody have any experience or knowledge of these rotors from TriNET Motorsports. They have these on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&category=33564) and was thinking of getting some. And aslo, they say that the zinc is electrically charged onto the rotor in chemical tanks (not spray painted on). Because you have the choice of making them black or gold. Does this mean that if I get them black (which I do, that's why I was considering to buy from them), the black zinc won't get scratched off after breaking?

    they may most likely warp on you in a few months.. i would go w/ the trusted brand name brembos-

    Unless they are chamfered drilled, stay away from them. And any finish will just get worn off by the pads.

    Companies like this get the OEM blanks, and then just drill them themselves.

    rotora has awesome slotted rotors. i have no complaints from my set. 50K of heavy braking with no problems.

    oh, and.. the plating will wear off the rotor surface immediately. it will keep the rest of the rotor from rusting tho.. unless it's utter crap, which is a possibility
