"roof bars" do they really work?

    It might help if you have a sunroof installed, which I think reduces the overal rigidity of the roof. Otherwise, I'm sure it'll be great to hang your wet laundry from.

    yup - any hole in the roof will compromise stability.

    what does it attach to??? there's the headliner and then the ouside roof... would you have bolts sticking out on the outside of your car???

    that is definately an Oh shit bar... watch someone hold on too tight and either pull in the roof a little or break the bar that would be funny....

    Unless your gonna drive on a lot of hills that go up and down then the ohshit roller coaster bar is useless!

    exactly, and if a time were to ever arise where u would need to grasp onto it in case of an emergency and yell "oh sh*t" simultaneously, i think u would probably rip that thing off...either that or have a bad headache in a rollover...

    naw they'd panic even more when they find out the "brake pedal" doesn't work. after that, they'll grab the oshit bar if it exists. but if not they'll cling onto your seat making you uncomfortable and all that good stuff. moral of the story, save yourself some money and don't drive people around
