    Rod cap torque specs needed!

I need to know the torque specs on the rod caps for a 2001. I found my bad bearing. Only one of them too. Go figure. Well, I've got a whole new set (all 8 bearings) and I will be polishing the crank tomorrow. Just going to be waiting for the bearings to come in (should be Monday). Then hopefully all will go smoothly and it will be put back together Monday and ready to be broken in. But I need the torque specs on the rod cap bolts. TIA.

    Go here:

    www.trixology.org/Repair

This is for the 03+ Corolla/Matrix 1ZZ-FE. Otherwise, just don't know. The PROCEDURE is the same, just not sure about the specific torque value.

either get a manual (or just flip through one at the store) or call a dealership and just ask. couldn't tell you off the top of my head...
