    Ripping out backseats!!

Alrite you heard me correct. I just took out the entire back seating, brackets and all so I can now start on my system. I'm gonna lay some sort of material to even the bumps left after taking out the backseats and get a custom plexiglass box made to fill the opening to the trunk. Thinking of putting 2 10's or 12's back there, should come out pretty nice..Updates to follow.

You know what would be kind tight if you made almost a wedge type thing to block the trunk off from the seats but then install subs and amps on the tilted part facing the seats. So pretty much something like a triangle. I think that would look pretty tight. I dont know what do you have in mind

Well im removing the entire seats, and the open part from the trunk I am customizing a plexiglass box to fill it..I like ur idea though, very unique....the other reason I am removing the seats other then to put a system in there and make it original, I hate everyone always bummin a ride from me lol...I know i sound like a jerk, but man, gas aint cheap...so now I will have a 2 seater.

Yeah im feeling ya on that one..I'll let everyone know if anyone else is planning on taking out their rear seats...there are two 13mm bolts that hold the seat belts onto the frame...a bitch to take out..i tried everything..so I gotta take it to a machine shop to have them remove em....but the seats came out real easily...

Yeah Im really excited. Just thinking outside the box..Im taking my car to a machine shop tomorrow to take the rest of the bolts out, and then I figure I am laying a piece of particle board down to even out the holes left by the seat removal...I was lucky to find some extra carpeting the dealership gave me wen I purchase the car, so I am going to staple the carpet to the particle board....after i get some money first week in february, that is when I will install the actual plexiglass box and subs...Hey if you have any ideas on a custom plexiglass box style, let me know..I know u mentioned briefly that triangular shaped one...Give me some more details on it if you can.

Haha well I dont really know how it would work but here is a paintshop no not photoshop im not that skilled of what I was kinda thinking. This is horid picture but it gets the point across. Obviously its not 3d either so deal with it. Create a wedge like this use it as a box port it if you want maybe but 2 12's on each side then include amps aswell on it so all is showing and then ports if you want them maybe in the corners.

So let me make sure I am seeing this right..The point opposite of the subs and amp on the pic, would be in the trunk, and the subs and amp would be showing where the backseats were inside the cabin? That looks pretty badass...I like that..Im going to draw some other ideas up, and see wat I come up with.. When Im done, I'll post some of the ideas and put out a Poll to get some opinions as well..but if you can think of anymore that'd be great, let me know.

Yep thats what I was thinking and you would still have your whole trunk space it would be tight. The only problem would be how the sound quality check with sound guys for that I definitly dont know anything about that. I will talk to a friend of mine that does all the audio work on my car he runs a shop here in town and see if he has any ideas. What also might look cool is if you inverted them at one facing in and facing out ya know. What are you thinking about doing

I was thinking of setting it up with both subs facing inward toward each other does that make sense?
