still horrible lighting...I bought them when they 1st came out and put some of the best bulbs money can buy (non-HID) and I still couldnt see shit @ night, so I went back 2 stock and am now having sean2sean make me some nice retro-style projector hid headlights...which he is almost done with...he has them on his rolla and lilhunnie118 also has them....its not cheap cuz of the HID kit and projectors which r rare 2 find the qulaity he uses and the custom work on makin them fit, but I think its well worth bein' one of the few and I will be the 1st 98-00 Rolla w/ them

does anybody know if it'd be possible to pop the lenses off the 98-00 projectors and use fog lights instead?

i figure it'd be a whole hell of alot cheaper (probably not more than $100)...just thought it'd be a cheap alternative to my stock headlights

It is possible to pop the lense off. But if you are gonna put fog lights in it, why dont you just do HID projector retrofit.

<img src="http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/4/web/424000-424999/424280_1_full.jpg" border="0" alt="" /> yeah i had those projector headlights as well and they are not worth buying, i paid serious cash for mine, now they are ebay for 40 bucks... that tells you something. I had actually changed my whole front end fromo a 2001 to a 2000 font bumper just to get those projector lights...... ended up buying a 2001 bumper and stock headlights back, and now driving with an unpainted front bumper because I couldn't see the road at night, and thats not good at 80+ MPH right. my projector lights actually melted the casing some, their was no way to adjust, because when i tried to the little butterfly twist thing broke off , and after driving with em for a few months my lenses actually cracked, prolly from rocks, but it's cause there is not casing ove the lights, they were basically fog lights in a plastic case, very cheap.... but very agressive looking.
