Yes, it makes a huge difference. I'm thinking of putting a second one on. It'll be Lexus quiet. hehe

if you want to know what loud is try removing the rest of the exhaust from the cat back... I had my exhaust just rust away at the cat and when the pipe broke and hit the ground I scard the shit out of bunch of kids playing baseball match at nearby field, and turned most alarms in 100 feet radious.

i was always curious if those cherrybomb glasspacks would act as decent resonators. i know they're heavy, but it's a thought! for resonators, i've always used those dynomax bullet mufflers.

Glasspacks have some of the worst flow ever.

Did you delete the stock resonator? If you do, then install one will make a huge different.
But if you still have the stock one, then I don't think it will help much to add another one.

well of course that's gonna make it loud..i dont see the point of this post.

anyway i guess i'll save up for a resonator. and no, when i got my custom catback exhaust, i deleted the resonator out of the picture.

uhm, just go to any junk yard and pick up a resonator. and yes, it will make a big difference. they "divert the airflow" so its not straight. this makes back pressure and alos reduces noise--alot

Theres a vendor selling some good Magnaflow mufflers and resos. I'll be ordering soon when I save up enough. I'm trying to build an exhaust system like rollatuner's with 2.5" reso, mandrel bent piping and a 2.5" oval muffler and no flashy muffler tips..LOL but yeah, I might consider a 2.5" magnaflow highflow cat too. Right now I have the stock diameter Magnaflow higflow cat.

uhm, you dont really need to spend a lot for the reso. uhm, if you want to keep it quiet, go with a 2.25 inch reso. uhm, just go to a junkyard, look for an import, look underneath it and see if the reso's still good. if it isnt cracked, then get it. you really shouldnt have to spend more than $10 on it. as far as a mgnaflow highflow cat. i had one, actually still have it, but went for the cat delete instead. if you wanna buy it send me a pm and we can work something out. still works just fine
