common, you're the master fabricator. Maybe you can take the ebay projector headlights, and improve it so that we could see better at night and it would look cool too. As I see it on the ebay projector headlights, it needs a clear cover, perhaps make the casing clear and improve the light projection. please I want one so bad.

Make sure you all requesting these lights have the cash to back it up. Other people have done it and I can tell you that a real good projector setup involves using good quality materials wich are not cheap. So you are looking at a high price, higher than ebay to get some good quality work. And I know a lot of people ask for stuff, and they also want it to be dirt cheap.

NP, Other people do it for around ~$800 with projectors and HID's. So that is a ballpark figure. You will not get any better thatn Projectors and HID's when it comes to light output.

ARe you kidding me 800 bucks! Here's an idea dr tweak, one of the members here had a retrofit projectors on his 99 corolla I believe. I liked that kind. I don't think its gonna cost that much. I'm willing to spend upto 250 if necessarry, but if its gonna be around 800, I might as well just get a HID kit.

Here's the link to his post:

man you are right, they are not cheap. Is that were sean2sean got his? If they can do one for my rolla I might just order one from them although I don't want to have to ship them my current one since I use this car as a daily driver.

No Sean2Sean does his own retrofits, he broke down the pricing here at some point, if not on vvt-i, but yeah you are better off getting a second pair of OEM headlights, and doing the retrofit to those, so if you ever go stock again, you can just swap them and sell the retrofits.

I tell you though, the light output of those is crazy! That is the right way to do them. ;)

Yeah and he sold those recently to skyace for around 800. so if you want that, that is how much it is going to cost.

Check this site out as well www.illusion-lighting.com I tell you those retrofits are not cheap, at least not the good ones. Go ask sean2sean and see how much he wants for one, it is not $250 for sure. If you are going projector retrofit, then you might as well go HID since your light output is not going to be any better with just projectors and regular halogens.

i dunno and the problem is on the ebay projectors that can't be resolved by putting a cover on it. For one the ebay projectors requires you to use different harness and bulbs, this retrofits, will fit in exactly like a factory with the exception of the hid. plus this will be a hella brighter and better looking than the ebay ones. If its quality, I don't mind paying 500-600 for them.

Don't forget that you need an extra set of headlights unless you don't drive your car on a daily basis.
