    rearview mirror maplight 168 removal

i don't know if it's because i'm fat, but my fingers can't reach inside my rearview mirror to take out my maplight bulbs... there's a plastic mirrored insert that prevents me from directly removing the bulbs... does anyone have any suggestions??? I bought blue LEDs and want to change the stock white-ish bulbs to the blue... but i can't get the bulb out... same goes for the trunk light... am i supposed to twist the bulb or something?

I got some 168 bulbs to replace my license plate lights but they were not nearly as bright as the stock ones so I put the stock bulbs back in.
To take them out just grab the glass bulb and yank real hard.
