    Rear Strut.....BOING!!!!

The rear strut assembly just fell apart while driving. The top bolt came loose and sprung in my trunk. I havn't gone to look at the damage yet but i'm taking it to toyota in a few hours. Still drivable.

At least it was the rear and not the front. It would have been pretty dangerous if it was the front. But either way, its still bad.

actually warranty does not cover shocks...which are all blown. It also doesn't cover nuts or bolts, which was the problem here.

I went and purchased koni yellows and some new lowering springs.

they are awesome actually. It wasn't that hard to do just a little nerve racking. It was the rear strut assembly and just the top..so it road like a very blown shock. Have the b+g springs and its nice. I'm going to go all the way stiff on the back next week i think. My half shafts are going i think...i can hear em.

you are very lucky you didnt get seriously hurt.
lmk how the Koni's work out though.
I had them on my 03 corolla, in conjunction with ground-controls.
it worked out pretty well, just cutting out the front struts to install the inserts were
    a pain though.
