    Rear diffusers

This my first new thread in quite a while. I remember seeing that Jspex had a custom rear diffuser, but I can't dig that picture up. Well anyways, I'm starting a build to make one. I'm redoing the car essentially. It's going to have a different color scheme and it's going to be lower. I'm debating whether or not to use sheet metal and/or fiberglass. I can work with carbon fiber too, but fiberglass is more readily available and cheaper.

Fiberglass is lighter but take longer to make.

It won't be curved too much since that would be hard to fabricate. It's going to be a simple sheet with around four elongated isosceles triangle fins. It won't be the length of the bumper. It will only cover the center.

The 8.5 gen conversion is too extensive. I don't think it's worth it for now.

I got a buyer already who made an offer I couldn't refuse. I'll respect their confidentiality.

Wow because complete custom fabrication of a rear diffuser it going to be so much easier then a couple bolt ons like head lights and bumper.

That's the plan. I might fabricate some mounting brackets further in under the chassis as well.
I like to keep things professional. :ninjastea
It's not like it's hard, but it's expensive and I already have a front lip and smoked headlights for the 8th gen. Plus, I like my bumper since it's smiling. The 8.5 is too depressing. LOL :p

Be sure to fill in the holes when you're finished. Get your fiberglassing skills ready. I also cut out the front Toyota emblem too. That took 2 days of fiberglassing, filling, sanding, wet sanding, and painting to smooth out.

rolla, since I have a bad imagination, can you post a pic or maybe paint what you are thinking about doing. I might have seen a clean rolla here in Htown with a clean rear diff.
