    Rear bumper removal

Okay, I got some subs in my car. And my bumper is vibrating like crazy! I already tried once to remove the bumper to put some sound deadening on it, but couldn't figure it out.

Now, I got the sides loose, but when I try to get the back part, it won't loosen up. You know how you have to kinda pop the sides out to get them loose, I think you have to do that with the back, but everything I try, I seem to put strain on the bumper, and I don't wanna screw it up.

So what's the secret to removing it?

Not sure about removing the bumper, but you could try covering inside parts of the trunk with some sound dampering material like Dynomat. That should reduce the amount of vibration to the bumper.

lol, everything is covered. The whole wheel welll, the trunk lid, quart panels, even the roof is covered. Only things I still need to do is the bumper and the doors. And maybe the front license plate...it rattles a little

They're 12" phoenix gold tantrums with a 501bd Fosgate amp. They hit pretty hard when there's no vibration problems. Right now they still hit hard, but the Sound Quality isn't very good.

oh, a little update. I tore apart the car, and found the back part is attached by screws. I need a long 10mm socket wrench. Thought I needed an 11 and got in at autozone but it was the wrong one.

So now my car is in pieces and i'm waiting for my dad to come home so I can take his car to autozone once more.

check out my cardomain page.... http://www.cardomain.com/id/kwong2001It's shows the system. And some of the install.
