    Rear 6x9's to install

How in the hell do you get the clips off of the back when you fold the seats down? Looks like they would just unscrew or pop out but am having no luck. All I have to show for my effort is some scraped up nuckles. Want to hear my new Infinity Kappa's. PLEASE HELP! :? I know there is a DIY section but it is now working.

take a small philips screwdriver, and put it in the slot JUST enough to turn the screw. You don't want to put any pressure on it at all or it'll just spin forever. Sometimes ring around the screw wants to turn with it, I put a butter knife (not sharp) between it and the deck material and held it while I backed the screw out.

On one really stubborn one I used a tiny straight screwdriver instead of a Phillips. Found I could turn the screw better with no pressure using it.

You don't have to back the screw all the way out, just enough so you can get a thumbnail under the head, and pull it straight out. It's made to come out like that, then pull the outer ring out, and all set.

    YW!

Kappas...nice choice! I put Polk's in mine first, then got the Kappas, Polks went into my wife's. Can't do a apples-apples comparison since she's running them off stock HU, but I do believe the Kappas sound better than I remember the Polks did. Can put a little more volume in them before they throw a fit too, for sure.

    I found a better way

after f***ing arond with these POS cheap plastic screws i founda way that woks faster.

I use a dart. the throwing at a bullseye in a bar type. sharp, pointed, with a wooded handle.

push it in between the jont and pry the screw out. once the screw id half way out the whole plug comes out.

less wear and tear, scratches etc, and much faster!
