    Really bouncy new tires

So I just put my new wheels/tires on and my tires are really bouncy when I get between 50-90 mph. I know there should be a little break in period, but this is bad. They were balanced and all that good shit already. Could it be just that I need an alignment.

its hard to understand what u mean by bouncy.... maybe u have too much PSI in ur tires....
Maybe ur balance is off after all, It is possible ur alighnment is off, but like i really doubt it causes a bounce factor

The bouncyness of it feels kinda like...well say you are driving down the interstate and your tire goes flat. Its that really jumpy feeling you get right before it blows. Only I know they aren't going flat and about to blow.

hubcentric rings? Something is definately not aligned properly

    Also, re-check your bolts

I think hubcentric. So are you saying just an alignment? Or should I possibly get some one to check the balance of em?

Do you have hubcentric rings on your new wheels? And re-check your bolts, to make sure they are tight. They usually back out

I'm not 100% but I have to say lugcentric....I'm just going to go recheck the lug nuts in the morning I guess and see if they work better.

I'm not 100% but I will have to say they are lugcentric. I guess I'll just go check the lug nuts in the morning.

Its possible that youll need some hubcentric rings......some will say they are pointless, but I dont agree.

    Thanks for the help bro.

I think I'll just check the lug nuts in the morning, and if that doesn't work I'll look into the rings.

Am I at any real risk right now of messing the tires up though? Or is it just uncomfortable?

did you get bigger rims with low profile tires?

i remember when i got my first 16in wheels with 205/40/16 tires
    i felt the same way...

then now i am running 18in with 35 on my wrx is even more bouncier

if you did get bigger rims and low profile tires maybe it just that
your tires are actually thinner so you feel every single bump on the road

Oh I know about the difference low pros make, but this is def. not right.
Any way I'm running 215/45/17 now, up from what ever stock is on an 03 (can't pull it off the top of my head at the moment)

It actually road a little smoother today when I was out and about. It started being bouncy between 50-90 mph...today it only did it between 60-80. I took it up to about 105 just to see yanno and it handled fine once I broke 80. I'm just going to get an alignment and see how that fits.
