I'm looking at the installation of an overhead lighting console in my 2003 CE- this would have two map lights (one each for the driver/passenger). I might use the console that comes with the moonroof or the one one that comes with the Echo Hatchback RS (my son has an RS and it looks like a good fit). My question is to the best place to find power- I've seen in other sections of this forum the likelihood that a power wire is already brought forward to a point near the top of the windshield as part of the factory wiring loom but this was unconfirmed. I do not want to cut the headliner only to find no power- anybody know one way or the other on this?
