    Ray Mercer vs. Kimbo Slice

I'm looking forward to this...Kimbo's first real and sanctioned match. As much as Kimbo kicks ass, I think he moves much slower than Mercer even though Mercer is like 46. Plus, every person Kimbo has fought against had one thing in common and that was lack of training. The one person that he did fight who was an MMA fighter, Kimbo ended up losing to him and tired out pretty quick into the 10 minute fight. Who's your money on...

Kimbo has sh*tty footwork too. Watch his fights, especially his fight with Sean Gannon. He stumbles all over the place cuz he throws his weight at people too much without any control.

Kimbo has been training lately. And its been with a well known trainer. However, I do agree that Kimbo is a bit slow. When he fought Gannon, I think Gannon was the same size as him which made it a challenge. I'm not sure about this Mercer guy but if he's the same size then there may be a challenge. If he's smaller then he may have an advantage since he can move around quicker.

I dunno. I'll wait for this fight to show up on the web cause i don't see myself paying for this.

I watched some Mercer fights and from punches to foot work, that guy can move pretty quick...of course, these videos were back when he was in his prime. I dont remember watching any recent videos of him.

So yea, Kimbo won the fight. He put Mercer in a submission hold and he tapped out a little over a minute into the match...1-0 Kimbo..

I just saw the video from the fight and remembered this thread..lol. is it me or did mercer look like he was a) scared or b) did not want to fight? Most fighters are hyped up or ready. Mercer looked like he didn't want to be there. I'm thought he would of had Kimbo at first but Kimbo got out of the hold.
