    Rainbow_Star's Qoorolla 2

Didn't post any updated pic of my car of a long long time.
It was car wash day in my Church last Sunday. I took Qoorolla to have a nice wash and took some pic. But pic not good at all, oh well. :p

There was a stock 01 S parked behind me, so I took some pic of it too to compare the stock rolla and qoorolla.

Are you sure that's an S behind your car? An S has fog lights and side cladding standard. Unless the owner removed them and slapped a red S sticker on the back.

Another way to tell is that the S models had a rougher fabric on their seats, feels like jeans, instead of the CE and LE's smoother cloth.

One thing I don't like about that generation Corolla is that the rear has a tendency to sag, despite having an empty trunk.

Oh yea, you're right, maybe it's a LE, not an S.

It rubs if more than 2 light weight ppl (around 100lbs each) seat in the back when go over small bump.
If 3 ppl, it will rub like crazy wheneven I turn left or right X(
No, I didn't roll the fenders and I'm still on stock struts and its dying I believe. I gonna change to KYB (bought it already) in summer and hope that it will be better.

Digging up an old thread but... you have the same size wheels and tires as me. Do you rub in the back at all? I'm dropped an inch and it gets pretty bad sometimes. Did you roll the fenders?

Oh I see. Well I'm already on KYBs and I still rub like crazy with 2 people in the back just like you. So that means you're gonna still rub. *sigh* I want to roll the fenders but I can't seem to get a hold of a rolling tool. I should have gotten tokicos. Those ride a bit harder and would help prevent so much rubbing.

I've seen these DropZone struts around. How are they compared to Tokicos? Oh and how about Bilstein's?

I'm going with Bilstein. I've heard that the Tokico's blow WAY too easy.

    ^ That's what I heard too. That's why I bought KYB instead.
Some ppl blew the tokico within a year, but some ppl said they're fine. I guess it really depends.
I checked out the Bilstein when I was buying struts. And I found that it's too soft compared to KYB. It's really much like stock.
So this is what I come up with
    Soft<< Stock | Bilstein | KYB | Tokico >>STIFF

I found the rear skirts only. I'm trying to get the side skirts too. I guess if I'm patient, it will come to me.

The old TRD valences on yours look better than the new versions. DOT. has the new ones which look like rectangular blocks while yours are contoured. Actually now that I look closer, are you using the 98-00 TRD front valences? I guess you can retrofit them.

Yup, the front is for 98-00. The fitment isn't prefect but it's good enough.
I think it looks better than 01-02 front. :)
