    radiator fluid

    What color is our radiator fluid? Does anyone know... orange, gree, blue, etc... thanks.

    Should be red. If it was built in Japan it may be pink.

    Sorry to be a bit off topic but what are some other differences between the japan built and canada built corolla? I thought they were all built in canada?

    i dont know about the canada but the US and Japan corolla difference is that the silver corolla has a different shade. the japanese has more of a green tint to it...kinda lighter shade than the US one. i dont know about hte other colors though

    half way through 03 they changed to red coolant rather than green. There is a TSB about it

    whats the difference? and those fluids toyota sell are red too right? cuz im planning to flush it and add redling water wetter to see if that thing really works

    It visibly lowers the operating temp, I have some in my car and I can't even make my car get hot.

    how much water wetter do you guys use? I've always mixed the anti-freeze/water @ a 50% mixture. Is that still true, then just add a bottle of water wetter to it?

    That would work fine. Watter Wetter works better with more water in the mixture but then you obviously aren't as protected against freezing and crap. I wouldn't go lower than 25% antifreeze :wink:

    it's actually from red to pink.........i've seen the TSB. Also I have one of the very first 03's and it came w/ red.

    Considering it should have came with a lower thermostat (a new one, not sure if it's lower or higher actually), it should still make a difference. If the new thermostat is lower, it won't make as big a difference though.
