    Racing Solution

I just saw the pics of racing solution on cardomain while looking to scion tc and it buffles me with his corolla. Maybe somebody can answer this question.

I saw his rear bumper and the kit he had in there looks like it was molded. If I'm not mistake the 98-99 corolla bumpers are cut off short, but this kit looks like a full bumper around the quarter panels. Are this new bumper kits or are they rear lip kits???

Another question. I saw the SF turbo. Where can I get one and how much is it? Is it hard to do yourself or do you recommend having a professional do it?

Hi. Thanks for checking out my car domain page.

The rear bumper was in fact molded on to my car. That is why it looks like it is one piece. Having the bumper molded makes the car look cleaner in my opinion. Getting the bumper molded will cost you extra.

The SF Turbo is the Stafford Fabrication Turbo kit. You can get one from http://www.StaffordFabrication.com . I HIGHLY recommend you have a professional install the kit. The kit is NOT a bolt on kit for the 98-02. FYI, there have been issues with customer service with Stafford Fabrication and it may take several months before you receive your kit. As far as the kit quality goes, when everything is installed properly the kit runs great.

I sell the body kit that is on my car on my website at http://www.RacingSolutoin.com Send me an email if you have any questions.

Basically they lay some fiberglass over the edges where the bumper meets the body of the car, sand it down, and paint it... a bodyshop will probably charge a couple hundred bucks for that.

I'm not sure an exact quote on the install/painting. I had a hookup at a bodyshop in Santa Fe Springs, CA.. (Sadistic Body Shop)

also keep in mind that a molded bumper can crack in the part that has been bonded. and if u are hit in the rear the repair cost is higher.

If the bodywork is done right, it won't crack. Going on 2 yrs even with some groud-outs that should have cracked it. The trick is to make sure the bodyshop you have do it knows wtf they are doing.

And Mike is correct, you get rear ended... it could be ugly. :)

I have seen many shift knobs on automatics and they look good.

If anyone has a shift knob on your automatic, take a picture and post it in here along with the brand of shift knob it is. If you can explain how the install went, that would be great. Thanks.
