    Quick Shiffter

    hey i just bought a trd quick shifter so i was wandering if any one knows how to install it.

    any help would be really appreciated

    well ur going to need to get under the car. i have helped install 3 of them. all were done on the lift at honda. if you dont have access to one. ummm. i wouldn't try it.

    wtf are u talking about? u dont need to get under the car to install a TRD quick shift into a corolla...atlease not for the 98-02 models... all u gotta do is take out the center consol

    lol, i dont think theres a short shifter on the planet that requires a lift to install...

    well the cars i did we an 95 gsr, 96 integra, and an 03 tiburon. none of which we corollas.

    yaah, u gotta take apart the bottom part of the dash and the center consol. then u gotta unbolt the shifter, take out the 2 rods ( C-clips, have fun geting those out) and then there should be 4 over-thicked washers that are ment to extend the quickshiter above the frame. u put them where the shifter bolts, and then put the shifter on top of that.

    those pix provides make u think its a shorter stick, but its not. its just the joint is placed higher up on the stick to give it a shorter throw. the height will be exactally the same
