Quick Queston on spoiler install

Ok with my spoiler i got these t strip things which align the wing when i drill holes. What im wondering is once its aligned how do i know how far forward or back it goes on the trunk lid or is that up to me? I want it to be exactly like a stock one but dont have measurements from the back of the lid to the holes. If anyone could give me some help that would be great, thanks.

Also the instructions show make it sound like theres 4 holes to drill but also it seems like there should be a hole for the brake light wires, do i want to drill one for it also?

I just installed a wing from Spoiler Depot and In my instructions it said it was my choice to place it where I wanted and I went with 1 1/2 " from the rear edge of of the trunk to the pedestal of the wing. If you want the 3rd brake light to work, you will have to drill a 5th hole. I ran my wire through the trunk hinge and then across the rear and to the light so I only have two places where the wire is visible.I think it is as stealth as I could get. Fishing it through the hinge is a pain, well actually getting the wire out the small hole is the pain.
