Quick question about wiring fronts...

    Quick question about wiring fronts...

    I'm looking into amping my front 3 ways for a better sound
    (I know I should get componants, but whatever)

    anyway. I have the speakers currently wired into the headunit.
    If I were to amp them would I cut those wires and just go with the RCA outputs for the fronts

    or...Do I need to keep the fronts wired into the HU AND have them plugged into the RCA outputs via the amp.

    rca goes from head unit to amp > speaker wire goes from amp to speakers
