    quick question about the VSV

VSV = vacuum switching valve (correct?)

The EVAP VSV (one with the little green port with the tag that says 1psi max) - the one that sometimes clicks @ idle - it's gone freaking mad on my car. It chatters away ALL the time. When driving, the only time it does NOT chatter is if I'm decelerating. Otherwise, it either clicks normally, or really fast (never heard it do that before) - anyhow, is this normal??

I pinched the hose off earlier and the idle dropped slightly and rose when I released it.

I am assuming the ECU is trying to negotiate a good mixture b/c it's a little lean after the CAI install? Right? What up with the chattering - it does it while driving all the time and when idling it REALLY chatters away. Will this hurt it over time? So far, no CEL ;)

On the other hand, if I've gained 5-7 hp and ft-lb, then I'd probably have an orgasm everytime I touched the gas if I had the s/c. Engine feels a LOT stronger!
    Thanks,
    Trav
