Questionay: Prelude... SI?

    the CTR was not produced and sent to the US.... the ITR, however, was..... it wasn't as potent as the Japanese version, but it's here...... trust me.... my friends cousin had one... and a friend of mine has one who lives less than a block from me.... (and it's turbo.... and faster than his STI)

    ahh... just asking because today one was behind me well... behind a car behind me... and then passed us both...

    The thing is it was two kids driving it.. exhaust, graphics on the side, lowered, rims (big), tinted...

    Wasn't loud and I don't think it was a turbo cuz I didn't hear a bov.. and when we were climbing the mountain up by the notch in amherst he wasn't going any faster then me... hmm... seems wierd... def a 5 speed though...

    Only way it would be turbo is if it was a custom setup. Prelude Si's are very prevelent out here. The big bullshit Honda's are the Type R's. Those were not released in the US. There were one or two in Canada and the rest in Japan.

    it didn't.... it blew the motor..... then he had it fully rebuilt with low compression & forged everything..... he's running 300whp untuned....

    Yes the Prelude si was from the late 80's to 96. In the early 90's it offered 4 wheel steering. The top of the line was the VTEC model. Out of the factory it is faster than the 97 to 01s.
