    question??????

    hi im a noob to dis forum which was referred to me by a friend... well i jus picked up a 95 corolla dx and i have no idea about dis motor(7afe) i usually work on 4age's and 3sge's... but any wayz do i need a adapter to run a aftermarket tach? if no were do i hook up the rpm wire?

    does your car have a stock tach? some do some dont. if so you could probably jus run the tach off of that. otherwise just run the wires to the proper place and it should all just fit in

    no my car doesn't have a stock one... but not in a rush to install, thats the last of the gauges that i'll be installing. i just needed to know what i'd have to do.

    no adapter needed; you have 3 options
    1) black wire from the blue connector (left harness) plugged into the gauge cluster
    2) black wire from distributor/ignitor harness
    3) IG- pin from the diagnostic port on left strut tower
