depends on your amp.(2 chs).. if your amp is 2 ohm stable bridged... then put ur subs @ 4 ohm... so when it bridges and your amp will drop to 2 ohm... if your amp is 1 ohm stable... put the subs @ 2 ohm.. so amp will bridge and drop it to 1 ohm... thats pretty much it... most amps are only 2 ohm stable... so make sure of that or your amp will melt... actually most 2 channel amps that are only 2 ohm stable do not recommend that you run 2 ohm bridged. 4 ohms bridged and 2 ohms stereo should yield the exact same output for most amps (except jl and a few other amps where output is constant between a small range of speaker impedance). I'm guessing the sub is dual 4 ohm voice coils.. if so then you can run the bridged channel of the amp to the coils on each sub in series and wire the two in parallel together as the website shows.

    http://www.eatel.net/~amptech/elecdisc/spkrmlti.htm

if you want to run them in stereo then just run one channel to each sub and make sure the coils are wired parallel to give 2 ohms to each channel. If you do it this way then you need to have a box with independant chambers for each sub or you will have some cancellations of waves inside the box since each channel is independant of each other.. probably wouldnt be a big difference but it should help.

If you have an amp that is 1 ohm stable or less then run the two mono all in parallel for a 1 ohm load.. be careful though, your amp might not last long.. and prepare for some major dimming of your headlights as well.

also be careful to wire correctly, you dont want to run one channel to 1 of the voice coils on your sub and the other channel to the other vc of the same sub or anythign crazy like that.
