    Question about muffler costs

    I just recieved my DTM muffler, and I was wondering how much I am looking at getting it installed for?

    is it bolt on or will some cutting and welding be involved? No more than 40-80 dollars.

    No it isn't a bolt on, just a universal one. So I imagine that some welding will be necessary.

    My friend said a shop charged him like 120 something to put on a muffler. Maybe he had extra something.

    Should I look for a certain type of shop to see if it's cheaper?

    Mine was made into an axle-back just like the TRD with 2.25inch piping for 100....oh yea they welded flanges on it too so I can unbolt it whenever I want :)

    just keep looking around for a good price, some places seem to charge higher for no reason.
