I have a 2009 Corolla S and I have a piece to attach on the engine

I was wondering if you could be of some assistance
how do i take the engine cover off?
and now

I'm supposed to find the ATS or the air temperature sensor, but the instructions says some newer vehicles are switching to a combination plug... and it includes 6 wire sensor harness configuration, and if my vehicle has one i should use the CTS or coolant temperature sensor.

where is the CTS or CHT in my car if i post a picture can some one draw with paint or explain where it is with either a better picture or something.

I basically just want to know where to attach this piece and how to remove the plastic head.

probably those two bolts bolting down the engine cover?

The picture you posted is the XRS 2.4 liter engine with the front strut bar.

yah thats the 2.4l from the xrs umm like they said prob couple of bolts on the top just unscrew them and the cover should come off. also i dont understand what ur trying to install what does it have to do with the air temp sensor
