    Quality difference? Axis vs. Enkei

    hi, all

upgrading rims/rubber to 15" for my 98' rolla. really like the design of Axis MagLite, however, it's a fairly new company in this field. not many people have them or know about them (at least here, in Canada!)

Question: despite the design, just pure Quality-wise.....which one shall I go for?

by the way, how's Falken ZE512 compared to Yokohama ES-100? assume performance and grips come first!

    thanks!!

i'm not a fan of Axis...but then again, i know someone who dented hers like 2 weeks after having them...but i think that's just because she can't drive.

Falken ZE512s are great...i like them over the yokohamas.

i like enkeis they are strong and light. i had a friend that had a set of axis and he scratched/dented his. I think they are softer metal and easier to dent..
enkei has been around a lot longer than axis and is used alot in japan...
I guess i'm kinda bias too because my good friends brother in law is an engineer at the enkei factory in florida and i got a hook up from him before...

thanks, ppl....with the price quote I got, Enkei RS-5 is actually 50 bux cheaper than Axis MagLite....and I like both of them.....but I think I will proly go for Enkei since the feedback on those Axis ain't that good so far....

I have Axis wheels (NOT maglites though)...I've had them for about two years now. No problems for me whatsover, no dents (and they've taken some good hits). I've also had two sets of Enkei wheels. they're good for what you pay, they're strong (and heavy) but they seem to scratch a lot easier than my Axis wheels.

hmm...the design of MagLite is really attractive to me.....however, I don't see alot of ppl having them......that's why I hesitate..

it's really a tough call......thanks for your input anyway....I guess I will have to kill some more brain cells b4 I can come out with a decision.....

I don't see a lot of people with mine either but that doesn't mean they aren't any good. I see a lot of people running around with ADR wheels and those are in fact crap LOL
