    Prizm vs corolla

Now before I ask this question I just want people to know that I am new to this so dont flip out if I ask some basic shit. First and foremost I have a prizm and I have heard that they are basically like the corolla except for some exterior things. Now is the engine the same as far as the sensors and engine size and engine bay. Also what is the overall best short ram intake. I have heard that some people say that they dont do anything to improve your performance but in all honesty I am looking more for the sound because corollas and prizms are slow as shit to begin with. Any advice would be nice, I could try and put turbos and all that stuff but I dont want the attention that much because then kids will key my car and all that good stuff, not to mention what good is turbos when you can only hit 45 if you are lucky here in Brooklyn. Also would 17s be to big as far as scraping. My friend has 17s on his civic and whenever people sit in the back of his car they scrape and they squeak. I know this is a lot but anything would help A LOT! thanks

pretty much a diguised corolla for cheap.
you can put 17..and they wont rub if you dont lower it too much. eibach springs will be alright. and remember put some tokico or kyb struts. seriously you can install it your self just buy your self a cheap spring compressor and a haynes manual. why buy short ram..your just sucking hot air....buy cold air intake but beware of very deep puddles.

    what intake fits

Thanks for the advice with the springs and all that...I will look into that definitly. My car is a 2002 and the thing is I have been looking everywhere and no one has a cold air intake for this car. the only one I know about is the TRD and i dont know anything about that. Are there any namebrand intakes that definitly fit? I dont want to put on this intake and then I try it out and I end up screwing myself over, do yo uknow what I mean. I dont have to much time to play around with it ha. If I knew what would fit then I would get a cold air and not short. thanks.

I don't know much about a prizm but the best fit wheel-wise for a corolla is a 205/40/17. If the prizm and corolla are so alike thats your best bet. Eiback Pro-Kit springs are a good 1.3 to 1.5 in. drop. Go with a CAI and if possible look for an intake bypass valve so then you won't need to worry about those puddles.

    HYper blue or white lights?

Thanks a lot to the people that are actually answering my questions it means a lot. But in all honesty ha, does anyone know what CAI fits on my car. Joe street if you see this then what kind of CAI did you mean. Or anyone that sees this tell me what fits on a 2002 corolla/prizm. I am looking at the Konig holes and ventus tires in the gun metal color, 205/40/17 and the offset is i think 45 or 43 or something close to that. I dont want a SRI because I guess its not good from what I am hereing. I dont think I want the springs because I have to drive this car all year and I cant mess around with the springs and all that. has anyone used or seen the hyper white or blue lights and how close are they to the HID lights. Thanks
