    Prizm Representation

I want to put together a Prizm lobby: a group of Prizm owners who express interest for aftermarket parts for our car. There are currently no carbon fiber hoods, few bodykits, no headlight/taillight mods, etc...

If you have a 93-97 Prizm, and you'd be interested in aftermarket parts, reply in this thread with what you'd be interested in.

    I'm already going to persue:

    *Carbon fiber hood
    *Projector headlights
    *More body kits
    *A conservative lip kit

If I can get a list of 10+ people on any of these items, it gives me some leverage when talking to manufacturers.

If this post was here say about 8 months ago, id be all for it but im currently tryin to get rid of my prizm and get a B5 Passat.

But i whole heartedly agree w/ you, cause our gen prizms arent too shabby, when fixed up right.

By the way, i have some M3 style eyelids made specifically for our cars, they were hand made by Nick Crouch, i dont want them. id sell em to you for cheap.

From what i heard, there wasnt much demand for parts to our cars. If we gather a good amount of people interested we can get something goin . Im going on a search to find any companies interested, whatever i find i'll post.

aight heres the first reply, let me know what you all think

    reply:

We can make one but it will cost you about 3800.00 which purchases the
    mold
and the design as well as you must 10 kits. So you will have the follow
    for
    the price mentioned:

    $3800.00 you will receive
    1) The rights to the mold (mean you will be the owner of the mold and
    naming the kit)
    2) 10 Prism kits
    3) Only you and us may sell the kit (you can open your own business) we
    will
make them and sell them for you.

Let us know, you can get a group together and groupo purchase as well

    Thank You

now we just need ten 93-97 owners, and ten 98+ owners...

And this $3800 is for carbon fiber hoods? or the taillights?

Sorry about the misunderstanding. Im not jason, this is an email i recieved while searching for companies that are willing to create products for our car. That response i got was dealing with a fabricated body kit. Im pretty sure they will make custom hoods i just emailed them about it and i'll post the reply. If any of you all get a chance try and do the same just so they will know that its a serious inquiry and that people are really interested in getting parts in the works. I apologize again for the mix up.

    Another reply in my search

I am able to design and fabricate almost any custom product from scratch. But it is NOT cheap and would run in the $ 50,000 to $ 75,000 range because nothing exists and would have to be designed and built from scratch.

    Mark

    from: marks custom kits inc.

The prices are ridiculous and they can kiss ....... you know the rest. I wrote them back trying to negotiate with them because they are the ones who actually can and will make the taillights and the hood. All of the others declined. Whatever else i recieve im posting it up here so check back every now and then.

    another response

This reply was from extreme dimensions about the custom hood :

Thank you, for inquiring about our Extreme Dimension product line. I am sorry, we do not offer custom parts for any of our customers on an individual basis. However, we will consider producing custom products if there is a large enough demand. If you know anyone else interested in acquiring the same item we would be willing to work with you to try and put together a group buy if enough people show interest. If you have any further questions in regards to this email or any of our other products please feel free to e-mail or call us at 1-888-611-AERO. You can also visit us online at www.extremedimensions.com

Email them so we can get this thing going!!!

I'll help out if I can guys, but I've been contacted by other ppl who have tried this but never gotten enough ppl to back them up. It's sad to see that the Prizm has even less support than it's almost twin brother the Corolla. I contacted a company that makes aftermarket face gauges a while back and they wanted a ridiculous amount of money for the first set of gauges. If there is anything I can do, e-mail me at Joey@TeamC-4.com. If there is anyway I can use my website to help you guys out, let me know. http://www.TeamC-4.com
Good luck with everything, and keep me posted.
Thanks RP 11 for passing this information to me.

No problem i just wish we had more supporters. I also need an idea from someone maybe a photoshop picture of a body kit design, custom hood (carbon fiber or vented) and taillights. I put a post on the photoshop section but of course noone responded. I dont have photoshop myself and if i can get an idea to the company they will be able to negotiate some prices. Thanks again great white .

    any prizms in ca

I found a place who would maybe fabricate a front bumper for the prizm. All they need is a test car and parts would cost $155. Anyone interested ?
