Premature tire wear experiences after mods?

I have Tein S springs, stock springs and 215/35 17s.
I am about to go into my 3rd set of tires in 29K miles of freeway driving. My problem - excessive cupping (scalloping) and uneven wear mostly on the insides (extreme in the fronts). I was told that this may be a wheel balancing problem, but I don't feel any wiggle.

Has any one of you had any experience with premature tire wear after any suspension mods? I would like to hear your experiences and how you resolved it.
    Thanks!

Do you rotate your tires every 5k or 6k? because thats a good time to do so.

Its gotta be an alignment... did you get one done after changing your springs?
