Meh, you guys only pay 39 cents per stamp, we pay 51 cents per stamp here in Canada :p

Even if it goes up 20%, it's still only 46~47 cents...

I think it wouldn't make a difference to us. I would think it would make a difference to large companies and businesses. especially if they mail out advertisements and stuff.

It wouldn't affect me because I pay all my bills online, even my rent..lol. But I always keep stamps with me just in case I need them for unexpected things.

Yeah good point Cuban. Only 9-10 cents, right? Think of the mailing that large companies do. That's no small amount to them. The article also mentions that the Postal Service creates its revenue from the stamps and whatnot, not from taxes. Even the Postal Service people are asking congress to not pass this through...

I'm the same way.. I pay all my bills online and everything... except my rent I havent quite figured that one out yet... but I can see the complex office from my office... (see there it is) so I guess paying that one online would just be pure lazyness

I'm more worried about prices for sending packages. Recently cost for shipping priority mail when up from 3.85 to 4.05.

Ouch..I didn't know that. It just went up to $3.85 from something significantly cheaper, too. :(
