possibly going to ditch 04 corolla

I've driven a few audi 1.8T A4's (2001's)and love them, and am thinking about trading my corolla for one. My corolla is just not satisfying to drive anymore. Do any of you know any actual owners of a4's? Comments?

and do they love their's? or do they have some problems with them? From researching online the only major things I have come up with as far as problems is there was an ignition coil failure problem and possible sludging like the 1MZ-FE's. Sludging in the 1.8T is due from neglect or not using synthetic oil with the turbo.

Audi's are nice, and have one of the best interiors, but quality is so-so. I have read about people sepnding hundreds of dollars on each dealer visit, and saying that they break down more often than not. They also seem to have a lot of electrical problems.

Many people are not repeat buyers of Audi's.

Search the web, I am sure there are a few Audi specific forums.

One them has has no real issues with his Audi, but the other has had more than his fair share of little problems (nothing overly major, but more annoying that anything, but this guy also drives his car harder)

The ones I have been looking at are ranging from 12-16k. There is one and FSK Audi in Frederick I want to look at that is gold/tan leather 5sp 1.8t quattro ~61k for 14k. I'm not concerned with small quirks (as far as that goes corollas have their own set).

As far as the forums go.... I have checked them out and the majority of them in there that own them love them. There seems to be a lot of people in their that use a chip/ecu mod to squeeze more power out and still be reliable....
