Engine Ported Intake Manifold

    Ported Intake Manifold

    So i just finished installing my ported intake manifold. ill test out my car tomorow and tell u guys if i feel a difference in power

    ive been wanting to do this but i really need my car. is it an easy project to do? i saw vamps thing on how to do it. how long did u spend on porting the metal down?

    You won't notice much difference. If you port and polish all engine components, together, they might amount to something.

    it takes maybe 45 minutes rlly doing a good job just to shave down the metal

    is it worth it to take it out and just clean it to get all the gunk of New england driving from its insides i mean im not looking to get hp from it but just to keep it on the clean side mine is coming up on 110k so i want to try and keep it a while longer

    I would add to both to top and low end power. I would think it would add a little more to low end though. More air would be available immediately to the throttle at take off.

    Port and polish Intake

    i just recently port and polished my intake via Vamps instructions. I noticed an increase in throttle response and a little more power just enough to notice. The next thing i am gonna do is put on my port and polished exhaust manifold. I should be able to feel the difference. Man i love my dremel. LOL

    i recommend you guys to take your car to a dyno so we can see what its really giving(hp).
