Engine ported exhaust manifold

i just installed a ported exhaust manifold from boosted 2.0 (newcelica forums, $110 if you have the exhaust manifold shipped to him).

while i don't have dyno proof or you're probably thinking im psychologically biased, i definitely felt a change in my acceleration (from about 2-4k is when i felt the change) and it sounds a little deeper than before (i have a trd muffler with custom-catback).

sometimes while at idle, i can hear a slight rumble that i know i didn't hear before.

he usually ports celica headers (obviously) and he has dyno proof for hp increase. some people who have gotten their headers ported even ran their own dynos just to see if boosted is scamming them but it also showed that they had an hp increase. i actually asked him if he was willing to port a corolla 1zz exhaust manifold.

anyway, just in case anyone was interested in doing this for their car.

weird it did sound a little deeper between 2-4k rpm. I think the ceramic coating makes it look pretty.
