i'm just happy to see the car actually being DRIVEN, rather than sitting in some show. your car looks nice and clean, and it's apparent you had performance, rather than looks in mind.

kudos.

it's all about being unique man, I think you're heading in the right direction. I mean HB is sleeper looking, handles great as I can see from mods and pics, hell make it a Type R Conversion to a RWD and OWN the track :D

much appreciation to you all...

engine work?
blah... none but a cold air intake from aem, dc sports header, catco converter, cat-back sport exhaust from blitz.

suspension wise...
neuspeed sport springs and kyb agx adjustable dampers, neuspeed tower bars front and rear, and 22mm rear antiroll bar.

rear disc conversion with bremo rotors and hawk hp pads all around.
kumho supra 712 tires on rota circuit 8 wheels.

with this setup i was able to beat the times of a turboed celica, 911 turbo, z06, and several m3s...

but damn those miatas and evos...
they are in another league!

i am changing several things in anticipation for next season...
gutting everything from behind the front seats (upgrading those to carbon buckets with 4 point harness) due to too much squirming around in the turns...

tein flex coilovers, and falken sport rt615 tires...

i'm hoping to get closer and closer to miata times.

ps...
i can't stand fellow honda guys that do all this engine work and make their cars show cars... then ask why don't i swap to a b16 or add a turbo?

ugh...

rice should only be for eating...

adding rice to one's car should be penalized by chopping the perpetrator's testicles. ha ha ha...

seriously...
i can't stand all the over-the-top body kits... the oversized rims... the windshield washer leds... m3 mirrors... imagined sponsor stickers... the list goes on and on...

i don't run scca events as they are very limited in my area and usually way too crowded (last time there were over 160 cars that showed up at nassau coliseum, long island, ny)... everyone only got 3 runs for the day!

i run with the local bmw club in their e class (everyone that isn't driving a bmw) and they were more than welcoming and friendly since i started a while ago. as far as scca rules go i believe i would be in street prepared if i choose to run their event.

most of the time we get 8 runs each time out (8 events throughout the season).
lots of seat time for me!

i like it...not rice at all, some of the cars i see here in the bay make me wanna end their life =/ (the car's that is)

it's like that car is crying, beggine me to burn it, and end it's missery (sp?)

but that's cool, and it's not some jacka$$ trying to "race" on the streets hehe :)

cool cool, i understand what you mean about not getting enough runs.. me and my friends try our best to run events other than our local club.. sometimes as many as 10 runs.

10 RUNS????

HOLY CRAP!!!

after usually my 6th run, that is the point at which my tires are at their optimum temp and i get my best times... everything after that my times just go downhill from there as the tires are just overheating...

not to mention the physical exhaustion of driving.
half the time you're playing cone gopher and with me, i take the initiative to go after downed cones, as the other guys in the club are fat and old (ha ha ha)...
great aerobic exercise since half the day you're running and standing

after that 6th run i start to feel the fatigue of concentrating and trying to be as smooth as possible while at the same time muscling the car through the course.

ISN'T AUTOCROSSING GREAT?
