Playin' Subs in Sub Freezing Temps

I'm a bit cautious about playing my 12" RF Subs in the early mornings because its like 15 and 20 degrees. \

Should i be worried about this.? or does it not have any adverse effects.?

I know the amp will give you a little more power for a short time due to less internal resistance. Subs? who knows. Start with low volume first.

You'll be fine. In fact, subs are more efficient when their voice coil is cold. When the coils warm up, you get impedance rise.

    thanks guys.
i was mostly worried about the rubber surrounds separating from the cone due to the cold and the "high excursion" bass lines in some music.

BTW. i love your signature XTM. Good Pic. :D
