I got mines painted at JL Autobody Works off sand island. Ask for Joel at 841-8818. I think he'll just paint it for around $50, but I paid $80 for him to smooth out some dents in the plastic too. Real quality work.. I don't think all places will color match the paint to your car after they mix it up... plus he's ASE certified.

To be honest, i didn't really shop around much before i got my grill painted, but i'd definitely go back to Joel for more paint work. Nice guy too. He comes highly recommended in the ForumsHawaii forums.

    grill paint

Hey, i'm from hawaii also and also new to this forum. save your $$$ You can just get
duplicolor paint from checkers. it's called Duplicolor Auto Spray. I got it in silver. The label says toyota silver. I have a lunar mist corolla s. I know it doesn't match exactly but to me it looks almost the same. I spent only $10 dollars. Also, don't forget to get th clear coat can. Those cans come in 5oz. and cost only $4.39 each....laters...

thx for the advice everyone. unfortunately, i havent had much time to work w/ recently, so i decided to take it to Joel to work on it. i just got it back today and i must say...he's really good at it :D ...he matched it to the color of the main body even closer than the S kit does  lol.
btw, tRav, he remembered right away as i mentioned about yours when he asked me how i found out about his place... :)
