EASY. pitbulls don't look like that. THAT dog looks like a bull terrier - like Spuds Mackenzie, or the Target dog. (i think i got the breed right...)

On another forum, where the picture was originally posted, it was stated that the dog killed the porcupine.

I agree...this looks more like a bull-terrier. The nose of this dog is too long to be a pitbull. In any event, a disturbing image. Admittedly I would feel less remorse if it was a pitbull. I think pitbulls should never have been bred and now that they have been, their continued breeding should be ceased.

glad to see you have an opinion...but i think you're wrong. i've had better associations with pits and other "aggressive" breeds than i have with "family" breeds like labs.

i hate labs. everyone else loves them, but i find them to be giant slobbering timebombs.

well i think, labs are the greatest of dogs, mine is very loyal, and not only is it mixed with almost the largest most aggressive dog, other then pit ( which compared to akita is small ) my dog wouldnt hurt a sole. although my dog knows not to mess with something that would mess him up so much. ha

there is absolutely nothing wrong with pitbulls. i know plenty of pitbulls that have been raised in loving homes as pets that are wonderful dogs. its retarded idiots that buy pits from Cornelius the Crackhead down the alley and then chain them up in their backyard where they have no human contact because they believe that that's what you're supposed to do with pitbulls, conditioning them to be anti-social, ultimately vicious animals, thus further perpetuating their reputation as horrible dogs who "should not be bred anymore"

    ^^^ EXACTLY!!

and i think "aggressive" breeds are awesome dogs, but MANY people disagree with me. who's right and who's wrong?

both are right. :) ANY dog can be a great dog if it's raised right. in fact, the boyfriend and i have discussed the possibility of furry children(we won't be spawning, so pets are our option)...he wants an Akita (have supposed jealousy "issues" and are very protective of their humans) and i want a dobie. both are beautiful breeds, and both can be great pets, either alone or with other dogs.
