    Pistons for a 4agze

Hey everyone, its been a while since my last post.

i got a 4agze engine about a year ago and tore it all apart and i took the block and head down to my local car shop and had them beef up the head a little bit and clean everything up real nice. Well the pistons that were in it were in real bad shape and i guess had scraped up the cylinder walls pretty good... so they honed out the cylinder walls and now the stock pistons wont fit anymore b/c the bore is 0.5 mm larger than before. Its pretty damn hard to find pistons that will work in the 4agze because they have to be low compression. Ive been looking online trying to find out how many mm the stock pistons are, but ive seen a few different sizes. Does anyone know where i can find some low compression pistons that are 0.5 mm larger than stock size? If not... what is the next biggest size low compression piston available b/c i could just have the car shop bore the cylinders out to fit them. Any help you could give me would be great..... Thanks.

too bad you bored it out that much...... the stock gze pistons are forged and ceramic coated..... possibly find out if you can just use a larger ring set

the only thing i can think of is talking to a place that does pistons like Probe Industries and tell them the exact specifications that you want.

I know Wiseco pistons does custom sizes and compressions. Look them up and try talking to them about it. They should know something.

If I remember rightly, the stock bore on a 4A/7A family engine is 81mm, but i think it is time to get your calipers out and do some measuring...
