    Pioneer "Q-Factor"

Is anybody familiar with the Q-factor on pioneer decks? I know it adjusts the eq but i can't figure out the frequencies or what sounds best. Any help?

I thought "Q" factor had something to do with subwoofers and their enclosures.

Q factor applies to any electrical or mechanical system that has a resonant frequency. Q is a measure of how steep the resonant curve is. For an equalizer, a high Q means that only a small band around the selected frequency is going to be boosted or cut. The lower the Q, the wider the frequency band affected. For a speaker, the impedance rises sharply at the resonant frequency. Q is a measure of how quickly the impedance rises (before resonance) and falls (above resonance) with frequency.

Unless you have access to a good spectrum analyzer, the best Q is the one that sounds best to you. It's generally not very useful in a car though, unless you have multiple bands to play with.
