    Pioneer/Ipod Install

Quick question...please don't flame me because i have searched for this, but all the other threads are kinda jumbled up to where i cant understand them. I have a Pioneer DEH-P7600MP cd player and i want to hook an ipod mini to it. The cd player has an RCA aux input on it i believe. Can i just hook up the ipod with an RCA to mini jack cable and then mount the ipod in a place where i can control it through the ipod?

It looks like you have everything covered, but you may want to add a car charger cable just for the long trips to keep the battery charged.

I know I'm kind of reviving this thread from a few months ago, but did you get this set up?

The much cooler solution would be to get this part: the CD-IB100, which will give your head unit full control of the iPod, and charge the iPod and everything... That way you can keep your Mini in the glove box or something, out of sight, and still use all its features.

I ordered a Pioneer DEH-P6700MP and this CD-IB100, and they'll get here tomorrow. I hope the setup works well. How is your system working?

Still waiting for the adapter for the JVC headunits. but there's no guarantee it will work on mine. I'll just have to wait.... or get a new headunit.
Just have mine through a CD-change/aux input adapter right now
