i wanted a new ram but this is a work truck and did not want to mess up a brand new ram eventually when my business grows i will get a newer ram for personal use. but i cant see putting a new truck through all the abuse i have already put this truck though. i am very rough on this truck. but that is why i bought it and the new rams also cost twice as much as this one cost me. only 16K for a 2001 with 50K miles

    Now that's a truck!
Curiously? What kind of gas mileage are you getting with your truck? I'm sure you're thinking that even 20mpg would be great!

well after i installed my tonneau cover i am getting about 13 mpg according to my trip overhead computer. before it was getting about 11-12 mpg.
yeah its a lot different than the corolla. the corollas on the road look like little yugo's now. i can almost sit as high as a semi truck. its cool actually looking over and seeing the driver of the truck. i would love to get 20 mpg but not in this truck with a 360 5.9L. its about this highest truck on the road unless its a lifted truck. but the down side is it wont fit in my garage. about 3-4 inches to tall. but i dont have to worry about someone hitting me now i will just drive over them. 8)
but i do miss the accel of the corolla and the cornering. i would be upside down if i tried to take the same corners i did with the corolla.

Well... there's always the Dodge Ram SRT-10... of course I think you would get nearly 2mpg if you were hammering the throttle, but it would be a joy!

It'll suck (literally) if gas prices get over $2.00 per gallon in OH. You'll be saying "OH man!"

i said oh man yesterday when i cost me $47.70 to fill up my tank gas is up to 1.79 a gallon

i almost got a V10 Ram but decided it was overkill and they only average about 8 mpg. 13 is much better than 8 but i am lookng at ways to get around 15 mpg and its possible with a few mods. a good tune up and airfilter and a few other tricks from what i heard people are getting 15-19 mpg out of a 360
