I prefer a 25 horsepower vinyl sticker instead. For race days I bust out the 100 hp stickies!!!

What these fine gentlemen are trying to say is that is crap. I dont even know how that would work...

The "Chip" I did on my friend's BMW connected to the computer module to "re-write" the code to enable better air/fuel mixture and raise RPM redline. I dont see how that will do it.

This is also not a programmable "chip". Not really sure what it is, but it's not an ecu chip.

Seriously, I had one of these installed:

    http://www.urdusa.com/product_info.php?cPath=66_72&products_id=1260198051

I know the guy who owns URD, and though they primarily specialize in performance equipment for Toyota trucks, they set me up with a custom wiring harness along with this MAF Sensor calibrator. The owner, who goes by the nickname Gadget (I've known him for years and don't even know is real name :superconf) even met up with me in person and custom programmed it for my Rolla.

Result? Well I'll never win a drag race what the automatic transmission but at highway speeds, which is where I do most of my driving, I've noticed a little more oomph when I step on the gas. It shifts much more smoothly at high speeds, and seems to have enough extra power that it is not so quick to downshift when I step on the gas.

I plan on getting Dyno'd next summer to see what I've got and I'll compare it to the stock specs to see how accurate my butt-o-meter is.

My friend has one in his Wagon and it works , I have one on my 98 rolla and it acts like a VVt-i , dont know how to explain it put if you have a Automatic car and your ready to pass someone it will go down to the low gear even when your already maxed out on max speed all you do is lift off and push and will do it all over again ,, Where once your car has already shifted it wont shift again till your RPM's go down , I ordered another for the white car now that I have the headers , It's not gonna make it 300 horse power but its gonna give you a little something for those stock honda's .

Here is the link where you dont have to spend alot of money for one ...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0182418712&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT

P.s.... Dont care what anyone says all I know is I have one and I know another 300HP Corolla that has it in there Turbo one .

Wait... You're joking right? I can make that same thing for 50 cents or less and it would probably do more. It's a gimmick and a scam like we've all been sarcastically implying to.

Actually, what the hell. Buy it. I bet it adds 100 hp! It might just beat my 100 hp vinyl sticker! :D:p;)

btw, I love the ebay auction. You can tell it's a RadioShack chip with 2 soldered wires. And the washed out performance graph is just EPIC! I googled performance graph and what do you know? I saw the same one. *exaggeration*

    That's how we roll.

I think if you can make one for 50 cents and sell it then you would have . But you dont ...LMAO ....This one isnt a gimmick or a scam but you already know it all so why bother explaining ....LMAO ...You are one of many who complain about your corolla being so so slow , Yea I really want advice from you ...LMAO ... Either way Coltron its your decision . I know is I have been on the track when I did all my MODS and its made a difference and no one said 100 horsepower thats rollatuner hating . But I guess thats what this board has become a place to argue ...LMAO .... No wonder Shampoo topic is more popular then Pedro's Suspension or Turbo Threads ...LMAO :)

A 25 dollar performance chip is just not possible. A real chip will run you hundreds. What you're feeling is placebo horsepower. Ask any other sensible member here and they will agree.
